An Ocean of Words

Yes, another boring teacher post. :) That's about all that is going on in my life right now. I am feeling kinda lonely tonight and trying to stay busy. Instead of buying a Word Wall for my classroom like this, I have decided to make one. They are so expensive and I have already bought quite a few things for the upcoming school year. Teaching is expensive and I want things nice. Good thing I have my Cricut to help me out and my awesome Life's A Beach cartridge! I love my Cricut. I don't use it as much as I would like, but that is my own fault. I love to scrapbook and card make and instead I sit in front of the computer. :|

Anyhoo, these are some cute foam letters I found at JoAnn's and used my 20% teacher discount. Yes, it is supposed to say "An Ocean of Words" but they were out of "N's" "R's" and "S's". They expect them in this week so I went ahead and bought what I needed. I am going to put these on the wall above the actual word wall. I thought it would be cute for my ocean/Finding Nemo themed room (with some Ariel thrown in of course!)
If any or you are interested in seeing what my Cricut does, here is a riveting 15 second video:

And here are the letters cut out when it is done.

My mom and Jake pitched in together and got me this for my last birthday. I love it. Best scrapbooking tool by far and worth the money in my opinion. I can use it for scrapbooking, cards, home decor, school etc. It is great fun. So, thanks again Jake and Mom!
