Gone

It is a sad day at the Vogt house. My baby is gone. My parents were going crazy missing Chloe so she is on an extended sleepover at their house. I feel like a mom. I was thinking of all the things I needed to tell them. Like make sure the gate is locked. And make sure she has water and don't close the door where her food and water is. (Not like she didn't live there for 2 years!) :) I can't imagine what it must be like to leave your actual child! So, I was really generous and met my mom half way to drop off Chloe. I am sure my dad is thrilled! He misses her a lot. She is really good company especially since she is such a love bug.

(There is no good place to take a dog! It was so hot! I am ready for the heat to go away!!!)

You can tell it was hot. Poor Chloe had her tongue hanging out the whole time! But thanks to my dads reminder my mom brought a bowl with some water. Thanks Pop!

How cute is she!?! I may never have kids. Just beagles. Maybe :)

And here she is saying goodbye to me. Just like with a kid I had a harder time than she did.

I already miss my little RC Beagle. Twice now I have called her. It is weird because the only time I have been away from her for a long time is when I have been out of town. It is easier to not miss her as much then because you are on vacation. But now I am just at home and she is gone. :( I am sure she will have a great time with Mema, Pop and Maggie.


And this is what Emma has been doing all day. Her favorite thing is to curl up on our bed during the day. Sometimes when I come home I find her and the dog both on our bed. She sleeps all day and wants to play all night. Crazy cat.
I bought her a new collar and ID tag, and then Jake found her old collar today in the under parts of the spa. Figures! Oh well, as many crazy adventures as Emma gets herself into I am sure she will lose her collar again. At lease we have a back up now!
