Hi Everyone! Sorry it has been soooo long since we posted. I got busy since I finally got a job. I was working at a preschool teaching 2 year olds two days and 3 and 4's the other three days. It was not a great situation and thankfully I have found another job. As of today I am the ESL teacher at Jack Barnes Elementary in Queen Creek. I am very excited!!! Chloe is doing well. I think she is adjusting to having both of us gone during the day. I come home to find her and Emma curled up together on the couch or the bed. Chloe is such a good girl now that we have a house with a doggie door. (Except for the occasional table surfing to eat cat food) The cat food is now on the counter where she cannot get to it. Silly Beagle. The vet told me to keep her away from the cat food because it is not good for her digestive system. I thought putting it on the table was adequate, but apparently not Right now it is pouring down rain and she is sad we can't go outside. I got her all ready to come with me to the mailbox, only to find that it was pouring down rain! I do not mind the rain at all but Chloe is like a cat. She avoids water at all costs. It is really funny to watch her run around sprinklers and puddles when we go for walks. Emma is doing well also. She has not been running off lately. Yesterday was a bit of an adventure for her. She got locked in our spa. Now, it isn't what you think. We were draining the spa to clean it out and had the bottom of the spa open where the water pump is. She must have scooted in there, and without me knowing I closed the door! She was gone all day and I started wondering where she was. I went out back to the trashcan and something told me to open up the door. There she was meowing her head off! Poor little Emma! I was so upset. I think she was in there for about 6 hours. :( I cried I felt so bad. Luckily it was not hot yesterday. She was fine. The only thing is that her collar is in there somewhere and I can't find it! As much as this cat likes to explore she needs her collar with her name and phone number on it. So tonight I am going to unscrew the panels and try to find it. Wish me luck. It is always something with Emma. Well, it has been awhile so here are some pictures of the little girls. I promise to be better about posting!
E in a more comfy place than the spa!
